PolySteel™ Light Poles - Washington Style
Installation Information
The Borough of Ship Bottom, NJ had learned about the benefits of the TerraCast® PolySteel™ light poles and how the 3-part composite poles stand up to sun and saltwater years prior to Hurricane Sandy’s visit. When Super Storm, Hurricane Sandy came through in October of 2012 and devastated the New Jersey shoreline, we were told by officials that our light poles were one of the few structures that were still standing. These officials learned firsthand the value of PolySteel™ light poles. Since the storm, Ship Bottom has continued to add more of TerraCast®’s Classic Lamp Posts to their rebuilt community. Besides the durable structure of the posts, the outer, Linear Low Density Polyethylene resin material, is UV stabilized to protect it against fading and will never rust, peel or ever need to be painted. TerraCast®’s PolySteel™ light poles are essentially maintenance free.
